Meet Printalicious, winner of the Vendo Billboard Giveaway

When we launched the Vendo Billboard Giveaway, our goal was simple: give one local brand the visibility it deserves. Today that brand is Printalicious, a creative chocolate and confectionery studio that prints beautiful edible designs on cakes, cookies and chocolates. We spoke with founder Dalaa Alsabagh about how Printalicious began, why she entered the giveaway and what she hopes this campaign will do for her business.

Quick snapshot

Founder: Dalaa Alsabagh
Business: Printalicious: edible prints on sweets (cookies, cakes, chocolates)
Business age: 1.5 years
Billboard location: Kanda, Accra (live now)

How Printalicious started

“The name ‘Printalicious’ came from mixing ‘print’ and ‘delicious’,” Dalaa told us. She discovered edible printing through an online course, tried it out of curiosity, fell in love with the craft, and realised that Ghana didn’t yet have a dedicated edible-printing specialist. That’s how Printalicious began.

She’s now producing custom edible prints for events  and personal celebrations, combining design and taste in a way that makes moments feel more memorable.

Why she entered (and how she found us)

Dalaa found the giveaway on Instagram. Having relied mostly on Instagram ads until now, she’d never tried outdoor advertising. The giveaway felt like the perfect experiment, a low-risk way to see if OOH (out-of-home) could open new doors.

“I thought, ‘Why not try? Maybe I’ll be the lucky winner’, she laughed. I had never tried outdoor advertising and didn’t feel I was reaching the wider audience I wanted. The giveaway felt like the perfect opportunity and I’m really grateful I joined.”

Working with Vendo – the experience

We asked about the process of working with the Vendo team. Her answer was clear and warm:

“The team was professional, respectful and easy to work with. It’s clear everyone knows their role, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free.”

On the creative side, Dalaa said Vendo’s support was a standout:

“All the support was helpful, but the creative work stood out the most. I shared my ideas, and the team turned them into something even better than what I had imagined. The quality of the artwork was impressive.”

The goal – what success looks like

For Dalaa, success isn’t just vanity metrics, it’s measurable connection.

“I hope the billboard helps more people in Ghana discover Printalicious. My main goal is growth: more orders, more awareness and eventually being a trusted brand. I want people to see how beautiful our edible prints are and also enjoy the taste and quality behind them. ”

She plans to track incoming enquiries, orders and social growth during the campaign, and to use the billboard as a conversation starter when talking to corporate clients.

Advice to other founders

When we asked what she’d tell other small businesses considering a giveaway or OOH test, her advice was practical and encouraging:

“Try it. Visibility matters. If you can get your product in front of more eyes in a meaningful way, it can change the business. And don’t be afraid to ask for support from experts who can help you tighten your message.”

What we’ll be doing next

Over the month we’ll track and share campaign highlights and metrics from Printalicious’s billboard flight at Kanda. Expect behind-the-scenes content, customer reaction, and a short case study after the campaign wraps.
